Club

A pesar de haber nacido en Rumania,[1] jugó solo en Suiza y a nivel profesional solo jugó para el Servette FC luego de haber pasado por tres equipos a nivel juvenil. Jugó en el Servette de 1932 a 1943 y logró ser campeón de liga en tres ocasiones.[2]

Selección nacional

Jugó para Suiza de 1934 a 1938, disputó 21 partidos y anotó un gol, además de ser el segundo jugador en anotar un Autogol en una Copa Mundial de Fútbol ante Alemania nazi el 9 de junio de 1938.

Ernst Lörtscher (15 March 1913 – 30 November 1993) was a Swiss footballer. He played for Servette Genf[2] and the Switzerland national football team, for whom he appeared in the 1938 FIFA World Cup, during which he would become the second player in the Event's history to score an own goal. This distinction occurred during Switzerland's 4–2 replay match victory against Nazi Germany on 9 June.
