History
The stadium was opened in three phases. First, on 28 August 2019, Placido Domingo's concert opened the stadium. The Puerto Rican soprano, Ana María Martínez and Domingo's father also appeared on stage.[1] On 8 September 2019, the second phase will include a common mass with the members of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Szeged–Csanád, while third phase will include an association football match between the tenant of the Szent Gellért Fórum, Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia and the Italian Serie A-club S.S. Lazio.[2]

Das Szent Gellért Fórum ist ein Fußballstadion in der ungarischen Stadt Szeged, Komitat Csongrád-Csanád, im Süden des Landes. Es ist die Heimspielstätte des Fußballvereins Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia. Auf den vier überdachten Rängen bieten sich 8256 Sitzplätze. Das Szent Gellért Fórum gehört zum Szegedi Ifjúsági Centrum (deutsch Szeged-Jugendzentrum) mit zehn Hektar Fläche und ist das erste Gemeinde- und Sportzentrum in Ungarn, dass im Auftrag der Kirche errichtet und von der katholischen Kirche unterhalten wird.
