D'une capacité de 28 000 places, il est actuellement utilisé pour le football et a accueilli des matchs de la 2006 ELF Cup (tournoi organisé par l'équipe de Chypre du Nord de football)[1].

C'est le stade des clubs de Çetinkaya Türk SK et de Yenicami Ağdelen SK, tous deux en première division de Chypre du Nord[2].

Das Atatürk-Stadion Lefkoşa (türkisch Lefkoşa Atatürk Stadı) ist ein multifunktionelles Stadion in Nord-Nikosia, Distrikt Lefkoşa, Türkische Republik Nordzypern. Es ist das größte Stadion in Nordzypern. Es wird zurzeit meistens für Fußballspiele benutzt und beheimatete einige Spiele des ELF Cup 2006. Es dient auch als Heimstadion von Çetinkaya TSK und Yenicami Ağdelen[1] in der Kuzey Kıbrıs Süper Ligi und von Gençlik Gücü S.K. in der KTFF Birinci Lig. Das Stadion bietet 28.000 Zuschauern Platz[2] und hat eine Tartanbahn, welche für Leichtathletikwettbewerbe benutzt wird.[3] Außerdem wurde hier die CONIFA-Europafußballmeisterschaft 2017 ausgetragen.

Nicosia Atatürk Stadium (Turkish: Lefkoşa Atatürk Stadı) is a multi-purpose stadium in North Nicosia, Northern Cyprus. It is the largest stadium in Northern Cyprus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosted some matches for the 2006 ELF Cup. It also serves as the home of Çetinkaya and Yenicami[1] of the KTFF Süper Lig and Gençlik Gücü of the KTFF Birinci Lig. The stadium holds 15,000 people,[2] and has a tartan track that is used for athletics competitions[3] and for walking by the locals.[4] The stadium also hosts celebrations in national holidays, and dance shows, attended by thousands.[5][6]
