Santos has a career high WTA singles ranking of 832, achieved on 22 July 2019. She also has a career high WTA doubles ranking of 709, achieved on 10 May 2021.
Santos made her Fed Cup debut for Portugal in 2019.[1][2]
Alongside Jacqueline Cabaj Awad from Sweden, Santos won her first international title in doubles in Cancún, Mexico. They won the final against Astrid Cirotte and Anatasia Sysoeva by 6-4, 6-3.
Outside from tennis, Santos has a master's degree in Micro and Nanotechnologies Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, part of NOVA University Lisbon.[3] She has defended her master's thesis (available here) with a final grade of 18 out of 20 marks.[4]
