In January 2012, he moved abroad to join Colombian side La Equidad[1] but in July 2012, Polo returned to Panama to play for San Francisco.[2] He then moved on to Río Abajo in January 2013[3] and had a second spell abroad at Costa Rican team Pérez Zeledón[4] before returning to Río Abajo in January 2014 for another season.[5] In August 2014, he was announced a new signing at Árabe Unido.[6]
In January 2015 he was presented at Guatemalan outfit Coatepeque where he joined compatriot José Calderón, but Polo left them in April 2015 after he claimed the club failed to pay him his salary[7] and he subsequently returned to Árabe Unido.[8]
After won the tournament with Tauro, Polo signed with Sonsonate FC of the Salvadoran Primera División.
In December 2018, Polo resigned with Sonsonate FC for the Clausura 2019.[9]
