Chen was part of the Chinese teams that won gold medals at the 2002, 2006, and 2010 Asian Games. She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.[1][2]
On April 28, 2009, she was signed onto the WNBA team Chicago Sky through the 2010 season.[3]
