Ettore Caffaratti (12 May 1886 – 9 January 1969) was an Italian horse rider who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He also served as a general in the Royal Italian Army during World War II.

Biography

In 1920 he and his horse Caniche won the silver medal in the team eventing and the bronze medal in the individual eventing. He also won the bronze medal in the team show jumping competition with his horse Tradittore.[1]

Ettore Caffaratti (Pinerolo, 12 maggio 1886 – Milano, 9 gennaio 1969) è stato un generale e cavaliere italiano, plurivincitore di medaglie ai Giochi olimpici di Anversa 1920: nel concorso completo individuale e con la squadra italiana (insieme a Giulio Cacciandra e Garibaldi Spighi), sempre montando Caniche e di una medaglia di bronzo, montando il cavallo Traditore, con la squadra del salto ostacoli a squadre (insieme a Giulio Cacciandra, Alessandro Alvisi e Carlo Asinari).
