Frank Lark Romero Berrocal[1] (born August 19, 1987), known as Frank Romero[2] (Spanish pronunciation: [roˈmeɾo ˈfɾaŋk]), is a Peruvian-Japanese footballer who currently plays for Kagoshima United as a midfielder. He is third-generation Japanese Peruvian.[3] Romero obtained Japanese citizenship on September 26, 2019.[4]

Romero moved to Japan to pursue academics, but a football scout identified him and he began a professional football career with Mito HollyHock. He would also play for Montedio Yamagata and Albirex Niigata, debuting in the J1 League with the former.[5]
In 2022, Romero move to Kagoshima United as free transfer.
