Gaby Bußmann (born 8 October 1959 in Haltern) is a German athlete who specialized in the 400 metres.

She competed for West Germany at the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, U.S. where she won the bronze medal in the women's 4 x 400 metres with her team mates Heike Schulte-Mattler, Ute Thimm and Heidi-Elke Gaugel.

She became West German champion in 1978, 1978, 1982 and 1983, and won silver medals in 1984 and 1986. She represented the clubs ASV Köln, LG Ahlen-Hamm and SC Eintracht Hamm.[1] Indoors she became German champion in 1979, 1981 and 1982.[2]

Gabriele „Gaby“ Bußmann (* 8. Oktober 1959 in Haltern, heute Haltern am See) ist eine deutsche Leichtathletin, die in den 1970er und 1980er Jahren als 400-Meter- und 800-Meter-Läuferin erfolgreich war. Bußmann ist heute als Sportpsychologin im Spitzensport tätig.

Gabriele « Gaby » Bußmann ou Bussmann (née le 8 octobre 1959 à Haltern am See) est une athlète ouest-allemande spécialiste du 400 m, du 800 m et du 4 × 400 m dans les années 1970 et 1980. Mesurant 1,70 m pour 57 kg, elle était licenciée au SC Eintracht Hamm et était entrainée par Heinz-Jochen Spilker. Diplômée en psychologie, elle se consacre depuis plusieurs années à l'entraînement psychologique des membres de l'équipe d'Allemagne d'équitation.
