Born in The Hague, Netherlands - where his father Fred was a football coach - Warburton played for Morecambe, Aston Villa,[1] Preston North End, Chester, Netherfield and Lancaster City.[2]
Warburton played alongside his brother Joe at Morecambe.[3]
