Herberth Armando Ríos (born 28 September 1956) is a retired Colombian football goalkeeper. He played for Once Caldas and Independiente Santa Fe in the 1980s.[1]


International career


Ríos appeared for the senior Colombia national football team, including the 1979 Copa América.[2]

He also played for Colombia at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow.[3][4]

Herbert Armando Ríos (Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Colombia; 18 de septiembre de 1955)[1] es un exfutbolista, y actual director técnico colombiano. Como jugador, se desempeñó como arquero, y jugó en el Once Caldas, América de Cali, Independiente Santa Fe, Deportes Quindío, y en el Deportes Tolima. También, jugó varios partidos con la Selección Colombia. Es considerado uno de los mejores arqueros de la historia del Once Caldas. Actualmente es asistente técnico del equipo profesional del Deportivo Pasto.[2]
