Diawara arrived in Serbia and joined Zemun in 2016. He made his debut for club in the last fixture game of the 2015–16 Serbian First League season against Inđija, replacing Uroš Ljubomirac for the second half of the match.[2] In summer 2016, he signed a three-year professional contract with Zemun.[3]
