Turner played the role of the Even Bigger Black Guy in the movie Trading Places (1983), which starred Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. His character utters the word 'Yeah' in a tone described by The New York Times as 'deeper than deep' to Billy Ray Valentine, played by Murphy, while imprisoned in a jail cell.[1]

"At the end of the New York premiere of the comedy Trading Places this week, Turner was credited with portraying a character identified only as 'Even Bigger Black Guy.'... The feelings are punctuated by Turner, the even bigger black guy, who following each threat, says: 'Yeah.' The voice, deeper than deep, seems to erupt from somewhere around his belly button."
