Makhtar Gueye (born 7 January 1997) is a Senegalese basketball player. He plays for the Senegal national basketball team and the College team UAB Blazers.[1][2]

Gueye joined UAB Blazers in 2017 from Aspire academy, in his freshman season he averaged 2.2 ponts, 1.59 rebounds and 0.22 assists.[3][4] In his sophomore year, he averaged 8.26 ponts, 6.69 rebounds and 0.80 assists.[5][6] In his Junior year, he averaged 6.81 ponts, 5.09 rebounds and 0.75 assists.[7][8]
Makhtar Gueye represented the Senegal national basketball team at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China, where he averaged 4.7 points and 0.7 rebounds per game.[9][10]
