Dooley primarily bowls left-arm wrist-spin, but is also capable of bowling left-arm finger-spin. His unique bowling action received praise from Michael Vaughan and Mike Hussey on his BBL debut, which was described as a “windmill style” by Mark Howard and likened to the goal kicking stance of Jonny Wilkinson by Vaughan.[4]
