Thomas Alexander Chignell (31 October 1880 – 25 August 1965) was an English cricketer. Chignell was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm slow-medium.

Chignell made his first-class debut for Hampshire against the Kent in the 1901 County Championship. Chignell played eighteen first-class matches for Hampshire from 1901 to 1904, taking his best figures of 5/68 against Derbyshire in 1903. This was to be Chignell's only five-wicket haul in first-class cricket. Chignell's final first-class match for Hampshire came against Leicestershire in the 1904 County Championship.

In Chignell's eighteen first-class matches for the club he took 33 wickets at a bowling average of 33.57. With the bat Chignell scored 181 runs at an average of 10.05, with a high score of 29*.

Outside of first-class cricket Chignell represented and assisted Havant Cricket Club.

Chignell died at the Royal Portsmouth Hospital in Portsmouth, Hampshire on 25 August 1965.
