He made his Veikkausliiga debut for KuPS on 12 April 2014 in a game against HJK.[1]
On 26 July 2019, he signed with Viterbese.[2]
On 7 August 2021 he joined Foggia on a two-year contract.[3]
Markić was a youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 and Bosnia and Herzegovina U-21.[4]
