Vangelis Panakis (8 June 1933 – 23 January 2017) was a Greek international football player, who played as a forward for Panathinaikos and a later manager.[1] His real name was Panopoulos. He played in 14 matches for the Greece national football team from 1954 to 1962.[2] He was also part of Greece's team for their qualification matches for the 1954 FIFA World Cup.[3]
