Grant Main participe aux Jeux olympiques de 1984 à Los Angeles et remporte la médaille d'or accompagné de tous ses copains : Dean Crawford, Michael Evans, Paul Steele, Blair Horn, Mark Evans, Kevin Neufeld, Pat Turner et Brian McMahon[1].

Grant Main (born February 11, 1960 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian rower, who was a member of the Canadian men's eights team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. He also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics. From March 2014, Main served as the Deputy Minister of the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation until his retirement in November 2020.[1]
