Biographie
George Bryant, avocat de profession et diplômé d'Harvard, pratique le tir à l'arc. Aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 1904 se tenant à Saint-Louis, il est sacré champion olympique en double york round et en double american round. Il obtient aussi une médaille de bronze avec les Boston Archers, où évolue aussi son frère Wallace. Sa femme Edith est aussi une archère, remportant un titre national en 1912[1].
George Bryant est champion national de tir à l'arc en 1905, 1909, 1911 et 1912[2].

George Phillip "Phil" Bryant (February 22, 1878 – April 18, 1938) was an American archer who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics. He later became President of the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games for the 1932 Summer Olympics. He won two gold medals in Archery at the 1904 Summer Olympics in the double York and American rounds. In the team competition he won the bronze medal as part of the Boston Archery Club team.[1] Bryant had not won any major titles before the Olympics, but later won national championships in 1905, 1909, 1911, and 1912.[1]- [fr] George Bryant
