Leonid Aleksandrovitch Komarov - en russe : Леонид Александрович Комаров -, dit Leo Komarov, (né le 23 janvier 1987 à Narva en République socialiste soviétique d'Estonie, actuelle Estonie) est un joueur professionnel finlando-russe de hockey sur glace[1]. Ses parents sont russes d'ethnie Carélienne.

Biographie

Carrière en club

En 2005, il commence sa carrière en SM-liiga avec l'Ässät Pori. Il est choisi au cours du repêchage d'entrée dans la Ligue nationale de hockey par les Maple Leafs de Toronto au sixième tour, en 180^e position. La saison suivante, il signe aux Pelicans Lahti. En 2009, il intègre l'effectif du HK Dinamo Moscou dans la Ligue continentale de hockey. Il remporte la Coupe Gagarine 2012. Le 19 janvier 2013, il joue son premier match dans la Ligue nationale de hockey avec les Maple Leafs contre les Canadiens de Montréal.

Carrière internationale

Il représente la Finlande au niveau international.

Leonid „Leo“ Komarov (russisch Леонид Александрович Комаров; Transkription: Leonid Alexandrowitsch Komarow; * 23. Januar 1987 in Narva, Estnische SSR) ist ein finnisch-russischer Eishockeyspieler, der seit September 2022 bei Luleå HF aus der Svenska Hockeyligan (SHL) unter Vertrag steht und dort auf der Position des Centers spielt. Zuvor bestritt Komarov unter anderem 550 Partien in der National Hockey League (NHL) für die Toronto Maple Leafs und die New York Islanders. Mit der finnischen Nationalmannschaft gewann er unter anderem jeweils die Goldmedaille bei der Weltmeisterschaft 2011 sowie den Olympischen Winterspielen 2022.
