Saku Mäenalanen (né le 29 mai 1994 à Tornio en Finlande) est un joueur finlandais de hockey sur glace[1].

Biographie

Carrière en club

Formé au Kiekko-Ketut, Mäenalanen passe ses années juniors principalement avec l'organisation du Kärpät Oulu. En 2013, il est repêché au cinquième tour, 125^e au total, par les Predators de Nashville à l'occasion du repêchage d'entrée de 2013. L'année suivante, il fait ses débuts professionnels avec le Kärpät en Liiga et le Jokipojat Joensuu en Mestis[1].

Internationale

Mäenalanen représente la Finlande au niveau international. Il est sélectionné pour son premier championnat du monde en 2018[1].

Saku Petteri Mäenalanen (* 29. Mai 1994 in Tornio) ist ein finnischer Eishockeyspieler, der seit Juli 2022 bei den Winnipeg Jets in der National Hockey League (NHL) unter Vertrag steht. In seiner Heimat wurde er mit Oulun Kärpät bereits dreimal finnischer Meister. Darüber hinaus gewann er mit der finnischen Nationalmannschaft im Jahre 2022 jeweils die Goldmedaille bei den Olympischen Winterspielen und bei der Weltmeisterschaft.
