Carrière

Passé professionnel en 2007, il remporte le titre vacant de champion du monde des poids super-légers WBC face à Lucas Matthysse le 3 octobre 2015 par KO au 10^e round[1] mais le perd dès le combat suivant aux points contre Terence Crawford, champion WBC de la catégorie, le 23 juillet 2016. Il est également battu le 29 août 2020 par le nouveau champion WBC et WBO de la catégorie, José Carlos Ramírez.

Wiktor Wassylowytsch Postol (ukrainisch Віктор Васильович Постол; * 16. Januar 1984 in Welyka Dymerka) ist ein ukrainischer Profiboxer und ehemaliger WBC-Weltmeister im Halbweltergewicht. Er belegte im „Ranking der besten Halbweltergewichtler“ der renommierten Boxzeitschrift The Ring den 1. Platz.[1] und wurde vom US-Amerikaner Freddie Roach trainiert. Aktuell wird er von Alexander Polishchuk trainiert und von Vadim Kornilov gemanagt.

As of May 2021, he is ranked as the world's fifth best active light-welterweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board[1] and by BoxRec[2] and fourth by The Ring magazine.[3]
