Daniel Francis Fouts (San Francisco, 10 giugno 1951) è un ex giocatore di football americano statunitense nel ruolo di quarterback nella National Football League. Fouts giocò la sua intera carriera professionistica coi San Diego Chargers dal 1973 al 1987. Carriera professionistica
San Diego Chargers
Scelto nel corso del terzo giro dopo aver frequentato la University of Oregon nel 1973[2], Fouts guidò i Chargers ai playoff dal 1979 al 1982 e due volte alla finale della AFC (1980 e 1981). Guidò la lega quattro volte in yard passate in stagione concludendo la carriera con oltre 40.000 yard accumulate, il terzo giocatore della storia a superare tale quota. He led the league in passing every year from 1979 to 1982, passing for over 4,000 yards in the first three of these - no previous quarterback had posted consecutive 4,000-yard seasons. Fouts was voted a Pro Bowler six times, 1st-team All-Pro twice, and Offensive Player of the Year in 1982.
