Biografia

Partecipò a quattro edizioni dei Giochi olimpici (1960, 1964, 1968, 1972) e fu il portabandiera per l'Ungheria nelle ultime tre di esse. Vinse tre medaglie olimpiche (due bronzi ed un argento) e fu il primo ungherese di sempre a lanciare un giavellotto oltre gli 80 metri.

Dopo il ritiro dall'attività agonistica, tra il 1975 e il 1980 ricoprì il ruolo di allenatore dei giavellottisti ungheresi.

Gergely Kulcsár (10 March 1934 – 12 August 2020) was a Hungarian javelin thrower. He competed at the 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1972 Olympics and won two bronze medals, in 1960 and 1968, and a silver medal in 1964.[2] He was the Olympic flag bearer for Hungary in 1964, 1968, and 1972.
