Il Beşiktaş aveva richiesto di disputare le gare di Tirana e Bucarest in due giorni consecutivi. Mano a mano che l'evento si avvicinava, hanno notato che era quasi impossibile giocare le due partite in date così ravvicinate, così hanno deciso di mandare a Tirana le riserve con alcuni giocatori delle giovanili. Il viaggio si è rivelato più lungo del previsto, quindi hanno dovuto posticipare la gara di un giorno (dal 16 al 17 ottobre). La squadra A ha giocato a Bucarest e la squadra B a Tirana nello stesso giorno.[3]

- Bulgaria and Turkey were represented by two clubs each. No more runner-up rule as a participation rule. 8 clubs played group games in two groups.
- Beşiktaş requested their two away games to Tiranë and Bucureşti one day apart originally. But as the dates get closer, they noticed it was almost impossible for the team to play those two games at those dates. They decided to send the substitute players to Tiranë together with some youth team players. Their travel took longer than expected and the game was moved from 16.10 to 17.10. Team A played in Bucureşti and Team B played in Tiranë the same day.
