Il est le stade-résident du club de football danois du FC Midtjylland.

Le nouveau stade du FC Midjylland a été érigé au centre de la ville. ce stade a été planifié dans le cadre d'une publicité majeure et d'un complexe de loisir dans le sud de la ville. MCH Arena répond à toutes les exigences de la DBU et est autorisé à organiser des matchs internationaux sous l'égide de l'UEFA. En outre, il existe des installations modernes pour la presse, les fans et les sponsors.[1]


Histoire


MCH Arena a été construit en 2004 pour desservir le club du FC Midjylland. Le stade est prévu pour accueillir presque 12000 spectateurs dont environ 7500 places assises[2].Le stade a été officiellement ouvert le avec un match de la ligue danoise opposant Midtjylland et AB (6-0). Le nouveau terrain est devenu une "forteresse incontournable" dans les matchs suivants. FC Midtjylland a été invaincu dans leurs 18 premiers matchs à l'MCH Arena[3]. Avant sa construction, MCH Arena été appelé Messcenter Herning Stadion. De 2004 à 2009, le stade est nommé SAS Arena, mais il change de nom en 2009 pour MCH Arena.[4]


Événements


Par conséquent, le nouveau stade est connu dans tout le pays pour être l'un des stades où les équipes extérieures ont le plus de difficulté à marquer des points. Au cours de la saison 2014-2015, le FC Midtjylland a établi un nouveau record à domicile à Herning, lorsque les Loups ont remporté 15 matchs d'Alka Superliga d'affilée.[5]

Die MCH-Arena ist ein Fußballstadion in der dänischen Stadt Herning, Region Midtjylland. Zuvor trug die Anlage den Namen SAS-Arena. Der Eigentümer ist die MCH Messecenter Herning. The MCH Arena is an association football stadium situated in the south of Herning, Denmark, that is part of MCH Messecenter Herning complex and owned by MCH Group A/S.[8][1] It has been the home ground of FC Midtjylland since March 2004. An integrated part of the arena is a main building housing the club's administration and offices for the official fan club (named Black Wolves), and includes player and referee facilities, a restaurant, a VIP lounge, press and sky boxes, and a club shop (named Ulveshoppen).[5][8][2] The total capacity during domestic matches is 11,432 spectators with 7,070 seatings (western and eastern grand stands and partly north stand) making it the 9th largest football stadium in Denmark.[2] At international FIFA and UEFA matches, the capacity of the four covered single-tiered stands is reduced to 9,430, when the terraces at the north and south stands are converted to an all-seater mode.[2] The stadium's current attendance record of 11,763 spectators dates back to a 2007–08 Danish Superliga match on 11 November 2007, when FC Midtjylland drew 2–2 against FC Copenhagen.[2][3][10][4]
