The club was founded on March 31, 2014[1] and already in the 2017/18 season succeeded in the second-class Ligue B, qualifying for the playoffs for promotion. A third place was enough here because the previous Transport FC was subsequently disqualified. In the end, after losing 1-0 in the first leg against Les Eléphants FC, the side prevailed with a 1-0 win in the second leg. A penalty shoot-out was necessary, from which one emerged successfully with 5:4. The team was promoted to Ligue A for the first time. [2] In the very first season, 2018/19, they managed a good fifth place with 44 points.[3] So far you can always keep the league at least over a midfield place.
In addition to the league, they have also won the national cup twice in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. In both cases they defeated Flambeau du Center 3-1.[4]
Bumamuru FC's colours are green and yellow.
