Club 22 de Septiembre is a Paraguayan football club in the city of Encarnación. The club currently plays in the Primera B Nacional.[1][2][3]

History

In the 2015 Primera División B Nacional season, the club played a promotion play-off against Liga Ovetense to ascend into the División Intermedia for 2016. 22 de Septiembre lost the fixtures on aggregate and would then play the runner-up of the Primera B Metropolitana in order to ascend into the División Intermedia.[4][5]

El 22 de Setiembre FBC es un club de fútbol de Paraguay, de la ciudad de Encarnación en el Departamento de Itapúa. Fue fundado el 3 de octubre de 1906, siendo uno de los clubes más antiguos del fútbol paraguayo, afiliado a la Liga Encarnacena de Fútbol. Tras ganar el título de campeón de la Primera División B Nacional en la temporada 2016 y también ganar el repechaje por el ascenso, actualmente compite en la Segunda División de la Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol, denominada División Intermedia.[1]
