«Этуаль дю Сахель» (араб. النـجـم الساحلي‎, фр. Étoile Sportive du Sahel) — тунисский футбольный клуб из города Сус. Основан 11 мая 1925 года. Название переводится как «Звезда Сахеля» (Сахель — географический район на Востоке Туниса, центром которого является город Сус). Единственный победитель всех международных клубных турниров КАФ.

История


Клуб был основан учениками франко-арабской школы на улице Ларусси Зарук. Первым президентом клуба стал Чедли Бухемла. Футбольная секция клуба появилась в 1926 году. Тогда же клуб вошёл в состав Федерации футбола Туниса. «Этуаль дю Сахель» также является обладателем своеобразного достижения среди всех клубов Африки — команде удалось стать победителем всех пяти основных континентальных клубных соревнований — Лиги чемпионов, Кубка Конфедерации, Суперкубка, Кубка КАФ и Кубка обладателей кубков.

Étoile Sportive du Sahel (arabisch النجم الرياضي الساحلي, DMG an-Naǧm ar-Riyāḍī as-Sāḥilī) ist ein Sportverein aus der Stadt Sousse in Tunesien. Er ist verwurzelt im Sahel, einer der wirtschaftlich stärksten Regionen des Landes. Die größte Abteilung, Fußball, beherbergt eine der populärsten Mannschaften Tunesiens.

The Étoile Sportive du Sahel (Arabic: النجم الرياضي الساحلي), is a sports club from Sousse in the Sahel region of Tunisia, known primarily for its football and basketball team. The club also has sections for handball, volleyball, judo and wrestling. ESS was founded on 11 May 1925 after a general meeting under the chairmanship of Chedly Boujemla, Ali Laârbi and Ahmed Zaklaoui, at the headquarters of the Association of the ancient French-Arab School in Laroussi Zarouk Street, in the heart of the old town of Sousse. The aim of the meeting was to establish a sports education society. The Tunisian flag was chosen in the selection of the colors of the team. The red shirt with the star and the white shorts. The French colonial authorities prevented the use of these colors, but with the insistence of the team leaders they prevailed and in the latter they played this kit. In English the name means Sport (or Athletic) Star of the Sahel (coast)

El Étoile Sportive du Sahel (en árabe, النـجـم الرياضي الساحلي‎, más conocido simplemente como Etoile du Sahel, en árabe, النـجـم الساحلي‎, en español: Estrella Deportiva de Sahel) es un club deportivo de Túnez de la ciudad de Susa, situada en el Sahel (una de las 6 regiones tunecinas). Fue fundado en 1925 y cuenta con varias disciplinas deportivas como el fútbol, baloncesto, balonmano o vóleibol. Estas cuatro disciplinas han logrado al menos una vez el título continental más importante, un récord en África. El club de fútbol del Étoile es especialmente famoso por ser uno de los más importantes del fútbol africano y juega en la Liga Profesional de Túnez.
