Musse was also apart of the Vancouver Whitecaps U-23s making 4 appearances and scoring 2 goals.[1] After two years with the Whitecaps, in 2015 Musse accepted a scholarship at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas having an impressive season with the Apaches.

Somalia

In December 2019, Musse was called up by Somalia for the 2019 CECAFA Cup.[9][10] He made his debut as a starter in the opening match in a 0–0 draw against Djibouti.[10] He appeared in all four of Somalia's matches in the tournament as the Ocean Stars were eliminated in the group stage.[10]
