History
The club was founded on May 8, 1971 by José García Moya and other fans.[3]
In the 2010–11 season Villarrobledo finished in 14th position, just 9 points away from being relegated from the Tercera División.[4] In the 2018–19 season the club finished 3rd in Tercera División – Group 18, and was promoted to Segunda División B.[5]
