Abdul Hamid Hamidi (7 January 1927 11 July 2019) was a field hockey player from Pakistan. He was born in Bannu. He won silver medal in 1956 Summer Olympics and gold medal in 1960 Summer Olympics.

After his retirement from professional competition, he managed the national team on several occasions, including during the 1966 and 1970 Asian Games. He also served as the secretary general of the Pakistan Hockey Federation. As of 2017, he lived in Islamabad.[1][2][3]


Death


He died on 11 July 2019, in Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi, at the age of 92.[4]

Abdul Hamid (né le 7 janvier 1927 et mort le 12 juillet 2019[1]) est un joueur de hockey sur gazon pakistanais. Il participe aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 1956 et aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 1960. En 1956, il remporte la médaille d'argent de la compétition mais remporte le titre olympique en 1960[2].
