Denis Huseinbasic (born (2001-07-03)3 July 2001)[2] is a German association football player who plays for Bundesliga team 1. FC Köln as a central midfielder.

Denis Huseinbasic was born in Erbach im Odenwald on 3 July 2001. Having played for the youth academies of SpVgg Erbach, SV Darmstadt 98, and Eintracht Frankfurt,[3] he joined the academy of Kickers Offenbach in 2018.[1] In the 2020–21 season, he began to make appearances in Offenbach's first team, competing in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Südwest.[2] In July 2021,[4] he extended his contract with the club until 2024.[5] In May 2022, Huseinbasic was a part of the Offenbach team that won the 2022 Hessenpokal.[6]
On 3 June 2022, it was announced that Huseinbasic would transfer to Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln and sign a contract with the club until 2025.[3]
Huseinbasic is of Bosnian descent but holds a German passport.[7]
