Sein 1984 geborener Sohn Davy Voordeckers ist ebenfalls als Fußballspieler aktiv, war aber bisher zumeist nur als Amateurspieler aktiv und brachte es nur auf wenige Einsätze in Belgiens Zweitklassigkeit.
