Eric Anthony Sato (born May 5, 1966 in Santa Monica, California) is a former American volleyball player, who was a member of the United States men's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He was serving (jump serve) and defensive specialist. After the Olympics he played pro beach volleyball.[1]

His sister Liane also played volleyball in both the 1988 and 1992 Olympic games, capturing a bronze medal in 1992.[2]

Eric Anthony Teruo Sato (né le 5 mai 1966 à Santa Monica) est un joueur américain de volley-ball. Avec l'équipe des États-Unis de volley-ball, il remporte la médaille d'or aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 1988 à Séoul et la médaille de bronze aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 1992 à Barcelone[1]. Il a aussi été un joueur de beach-volley en 1989[2]. Il est le frère de la joueuse de volley-ball Liane Sato.
