Grant John Turner (born 7 October 1958 in New Zealand) is a former association football player who represented New Zealand 42 times in A-internationals from 1980 to 1988,[2] [3] scoring 14 goals.[4] A midfielder with an aggressive playing style, Turner was a no nonsense ball winner and runner who had an eye for goal. He was capable of playing in attack if called upon to do so.

Turner was a member of the All Whites at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain, where they played three group games against Scotland, USSR and Brazil, but he did not play in the finals due to an injury sustained soon after arrival in Spain.[3]
