On 11 October 2018, Martín scored his first goal for Mexico in their 3–2 win over Costa Rica.[10]
Martín was called up by Jaime Lozano as one of three over-age reinforcements for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He won the bronze medal with the Olympic team.[11]
