Descat was the second best scorer in the 2016–17 season of the Championnat de France, third in 2013, fourth in 2012 and fifth in 2015. He was also the second best scorer of the 2011 Youth World Championship.[2]

Der 1,83 m große linke Außenspieler spielt seit 2019 für den französischen Rekordmeister Montpellier Handball. Im September 2021 wurde ihm für den Gewinn der Goldmedaille mit der französischen Nationalmannschaft bei den Olympischen Spielen in Tokio der Ritterorden der Französischen Ehrenlegion verliehen.[1]
