Joshua David Heard (born 29 November 1994) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Pacific FC.

Born in Cardiff, Wales, Heard grew up in Victoria, British Columbia after moving there as a child.[2]
Heard played four years of college soccer at the University of Washington between 2012 and 2015.[3] While at school, he played for Premier Development League sides Victoria Highlanders and Puget Sound Gunners during the summer.[4]
On 19 January 2016, Heard was selected 71st overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Vancouver Whitecaps FC.[5] However, he wasn't signed by Vancouver, instead joining United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel on 28 January 2016.[6] Heard was released by Bethlehem Steel on 2 November 2017.[7]
On 16 February 2018, Heard joined USL side Real Monarchs.[8] On 12 July 2019, Heard was loaned to Austrian third-tier side Pinzgau Saalfelden.[9] Heard returned to Monarchs in July 2020.[10]
On 31 July 2020, Heard returned to his hometown of Victoria, signing with Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League.[11] On August 15 he made his debut for Pacific against the HFX Wanderers.[12] In October 2020 it was announced that Heard had re-signed with Pacific ahead of the 2021 season.[13] During the season, Heard would feature regularly en route to Pacific capturing the championship.[14] In January 2022 the club announced Heard had signed a new deal ahead of the season.[15]
