Leonardo Briones Rodríguez (1 July 1929 – 16 August 2011) was a professional baseball player notable for his time in the Mexican League, though he spent time in other leagues as well. According to Baseball-Reference.com, Rodríguez's playing career began in 1949, at the age of 19, and ended in 1971, at the age of 41. He was elected to the Salon de la Fama in 1980.[1][2]
