Career
Growing up in the American South, she attended Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida and received a scholarship to play soccer at Virginia Tech. She started as a goalkeeper during her four seasons of soccer at Virginia Tech,[5] where she was a back-to-back All-ACC first-team goalkeeper, before entering the NWSL Draft.[6][7] She was the 20th overall pick in the 2020 NWSL Draft and signed with Sky Blue FC in 2020.[6][7]
McGlynn has also represented the United States in international youth soccer competitions; she has been a member of the United States U-18 women's national soccer team and the United States women's national under-20 soccer team.[8][9]
Personal life
In January 2021, she announced her engagement to Tommy Haught.[10] Huaght proposed to McGlynn in Jacksonville Beach, Florida; the two had been dating since October 2019.[11]
