After a good season for the U17 squad, SønderjyskE signed a 3-year youth contract with Christiansen.[1] Christiansen got his first experience on the first team on 17 August 2018, when he sat on the bench for Sønderjyske against Vendsyssel FF in the Danish Superliga.[4] He got his official debut on 8 December 2018 against Hobro IK, where he started on the pitch but was replaced by Rasmus Vinderslev in the 68th minute.[5] AL, he signed a pre-contract for 3 years, starting from the summer 2019, where his youth contract would expire and thus the new one start.[6]
On 17 June 2021 it was confirmed, that Christiansen would play the 2021–22 season on loan at FC Helsingør.[7] On 28 December 2021 Christiansen confirmed to JydskeVestkysten, that he would return to SønderjyskE at the end of the year, due to lack of playing time in Helsingør.[8]
