The National Athletics Centre (Hungarian: [Nemzeti Atlétikai Központ]) is a proposed track and field stadium in Budapest, Hungary. It is expected to host the 2023 World Athletics Championships. The new stadium will be built on the eastern bank of the Danube River south of central Budapest, with a capacity of 36,000 for the championships, which will be reduced to 14,000 for future events.[2][3][4]

Das Nemzeti Atlétikai Központ (deutsch Nationales Leichtathletikzentrum) ist ein im Bau befindliches Leichtathletikstadion im IX. Bezirk (Ferencváros) im Süden der ungarischen Hauptstadt Budapest. Es wird für die Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften 2023 errichtet und soll zunächst 37.326 Plätze bieten. Nach der WM wird die Anlage am östlichen Ufer der Donau und nördlich der Insel Csepel für die Nachnutzung auf 14.531 Plätze zurückgebaut. Der Eigentümer wird der ungarische Staat und der Betreiber der ungarische Leichtathletikverband Magyar Atlétikai Szövetség (MASZ).
