Le Foxboro Stadium (anciennement Schaefer Stadium et Sullivan Stadium) était un stade de football américain de 60 292 places et 42 suites de luxe situé à Foxborough,en banlieue de Boston, dans le Massachusetts. C'était le stade des Patriots de la Nouvelle-Angleterre (NFL), du Revolution de la Nouvelle-Angleterre (MLS) et des Tea Men de la Nouvelle-Angleterre (NASL). Il fut inauguré le et son coût de construction était de $7,1 millions USD. Le Foxboro Stadium fut démoli en 2001 pour laisser place au Gillette Stadium.

    Das Foxboro Stadium war ein von 1971 bis 2002 bestehendes American-Football-Stadion in der US-amerikanischen Stadt Foxborough im Bundesstaat Massachusetts. Der Hauptnutzer waren die New England Patriots, eine Mannschaft der National Football League (NFL). Aber auch Fußballspiele, Konzerte und andere Veranstaltungen wurden in der Sportstätte ausgetragen. Ersetzt wurde die Arena durch das im September 2002 in unmittelbarer Nähe eröffnete Gillette Stadium.

It opened in 1971 and served as the home of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) for 31 seasons (through January 2002) and also as the home venue for the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer (MLS) from 1996 to 2002. The stadium was the site of several games in both the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Foxboro Stadium was demolished in 2002 and replaced by Gillette Stadium and the Patriot Place shopping center.
