Le stade Borg Al Arab (en arabe : إستاد برج العرب) ou Stade de l'armée égyptienne (en arabe : إستاد الجيش المصري) est un stade de football égyptien situé dans la ville de Borg Al Arab, une banlieue d'Alexandrie. Histoire
Entièrement construit par l'armée égyptienne et ses ingénieurs, il s'agit du plus grand stade du pays et du deuxième plus grand stade d'Afrique derrière le Soccer City Stadium en Afrique du Sud.
Avec une capacité de plus de 85 000 places assises, ce stade fut construit au départ en tant que projet pour la candidature de l'Égypte pour l'organisation de la Coupe du monde de football 2010.
Il fut l'un des sept stades où se jouèrent la Coupe du monde de football des moins de 20 ans 2009, et où s'y déroula la cérémonie d'ouverture avec le match opposant l'équipe d'Égypte contre Trinité-et-Tobago.

Das Stadion Borg el-ʿArab (arabisch إستاد برج العرب, DMG istād burǧ al-ʿarab auch als Egyptian Army Stadium bezeichnet) ist ein Fußballstadion mit Leichtathletikanlage in der ägyptischen Stadt Borg El Arab am Mittelmeer, ca. 50 Kilometer westlich von Alexandria. Die 2007 eingeweihte Sportstätte befindet sich an der Wüstenautobahn zwischen Kairo und Alexandria, etwa zehn Kilometer vom Flughafen Borg El Arab entfernt. Der Fußballverein Smouha SC (Egyptian Premier League) trägt hier seine Heimspiele aus. Auch die ägyptische Fußballnationalmannschaft trägt hier Länderspiele aus. It is the largest stadium in Egypt and the second largest in Africa (after FNB Stadium in Johannesburg) with a capacity of 86,000[1] and is an all-seater. It is also the 27th largest stadium in the world, and the 9th largest association football stadium in the world. It is located on the Cairo-Alexandria desert highway 10 km from Borg El Arab Airport and 15 km from Alexandria's city center.
