Club Atlético River Plate Women (Spanish: River Plate Femenino) is the Argentine women's football section of the homonymous club. Established in 1991, it was the inaugural champion of the Women's Primera A. In 2004, its leadership as the team[clarification needed] with more championships (including a five-years streak between 1993 and 1997) was reached and surpassed by its archrivals, Boca Juniors.

El Club Atlético River Plate es una entidad deportiva con sede en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, que fue fundado el 25 de mayo de 1901. El equipo de fútbol femenino del club fue creado en 1991, al mismo tiempo en el que se disputó el primer campeonato femenino oficial del país, por lo tanto es uno de los miembros fundacionales del torneo y la disciplina regulada por AFA. Desde entonces se desempeña en la Primera División de Argentina.
