Deportivo Toluca F.C. Femenil is a Mexican women's football club based in Toluca, Mexico. The club has been the female section of Deportivo Toluca F.C. since 2017.[2] The team will play in the Liga MX Femenil which is scheduled to commence in September 2017.[3] The Team has also been involved in controversy for scoring a goal while the oppossition goalkeeper was injured and unable to continue playing. Instead of putting the ball out of play, they shockingly continued and shot the ball into an empty net. Thus, infiriating the crowds, opposition and the vast global spectators of the sport.
