History

Before the 2018–19 season, Inter only had women's youth teams.[4] On 23 October 2018 the club acquired the sporting rights from A.S.D. Femminile Inter Milano [it].[3]

In Inter's first season in Serie B 2018-2019 [it], Inter won promotion to Serie A.[5] thanks to an almost-perfect season with 64 points coming from 21 wins and just the one draw.[6]
