History
Zamora CF was founded on October 23, 1968. But officially the act number 1 of the club is dated November 7, 1968, when the club was registered in the Western Federation in Valladolid.[1] The club started in the Primera Regional in 1969. In the 1970-71 season it became its champion and promoted to Tercera División.[3]

El Zamora Club de Fútbol es el club de fútbol de España más relevante de la ciudad de Zamora, ubicada en la provincia homónima en la comunidad de Castilla y León y juega en la Segunda Federación. Fue fundado el 23 de octubre de 1968 para sustituir al Atlético Zamora que desapareció en 1964 por problemas económicos.[3]
Los colores que identifican al club son el rojo y el blanco, utilizados en forma de rayas verticales en su uniforme titular desde su fundación. Son los colores que usaron los equipos anteriores de la ciudad.
